I've been looking around at many different ideas for aerodynamic advantages. I decided to continue the theme of reducing pressure build up and took some inspiration from Ferrari's track cars with their large cut-away sections. I started by designing the new vents in Adobe Illustrator as vectors - which meant I could get the exact shape I wanted and mirror it for the opposite side. Once designed I then printed them out to scale and used them as a template to cut the holes. I just need to add the black mesh and its done.

Fitted my transmission cover. Thanks to Ross at Dragon Performance for supplying me withtthe transmission and rear tunnel braces - they certainly help the underside of the car feel nice and taut! I also wrapped the rear brace with heat wrap to stop the exhaust hitting/rubbing it.
